Do you need a packing list for vacation? I’ve got you covered! Packing can get so complicated.
When I am packing, I usually do it in pieces for various reasons. Sometimes if I’m leaving early in the morning (which is typical for me) there may be certain things I want to leave out because I may need them in the morning. Other times I’m just super tired and not wanting to pack anymore so I decide to finish up the next day. Either way, these things can make it SUPER easy to forget something important.
Because of this, this is why I created a packing list for vacation that I use everytime I’m packing. I’m giving you my exact list so hopefully you won’t forget anything ever again!
Of course there are plenty of things on this list you may not need. You can cross things off that don’t fit for your specific vacation or needs, but this is sure to help you make sure whatever you DO need you thought of! (also I added links if there are any products I recommend!)

The Ultimate Packing List for Vacation
Before I give the full list, I’ll start by saying… I always lay out what I’m going to wear to the airport or in the car first. I always dress comfortably, so if some kind of loungewear is on my packing list I can typically mark it off first knowing I’ll be wearing something I can probably re-wear.
1.) Carry-On / Backpack
These are all the things you would want easy access to! Whether I’m in a car or on a plane this is what I would keep by my feet so that if I need something to entertain me or have work to do I have everything at my fingertips.
- Planner (Yes, I’m weird and still use a written planner… disregard if you are not like me lol)

- water bottle (full if I’m in the car, empty for the airport so I can refill!)

2.) Toiletry Bag
I keep a separate toiletry bag packed at all times – including all of my makeup I use. I just like to have all my toiletries and makeup ready to go so I don’t have to repack it every time I travel. And on top of that, if I want to throw on some makeup I can still be all packed up and not have to remember to throw it back in my bag before leaving. Above is the exact one I use! But I still use this packing list for vacation to double check I have everything in there I need and to refill anything!
