I recently visited Musea here in Nashville to get my makeup done, and I immediately wanted to recommend it to EVERYONE.

My Experience at MUSEA Makeup Bar
When I arrived at Musea, the atmosphere was already spot on! I could already picture walking in with a group of friends and immediately wanting to take a million pictures together. I’m a sucker for well-decorated spaces – and Musea Makeup Bar is definitely that!
While I was waiting, the makeup artist handed me a book that showed examples of the different types of looks they specialize in.
I was also offered a drink – they have champagne, water, Cokes, and more!
When she walked me to the chair, I told her I wanted the “bold glam,” and she proceeded to ask questions to get the perfect feel for what I was going for and what type of makeup looks I like.
Whether you prefer something natural and glowy or bold and dramatic, they tailor the look to fit your style.
While my look was bold, it was definitely something I would wear for a night out in Nashville.
What I loved most:
- The artist was incredibly knowledgeable and so welcoming
- The makeup felt lightweight but lasted for hours
- The lighting in the studio was perfect for getting ready photos
- There are so many great photo op spots in the studio!
Honestly, it felt like getting ready with your friends before a big night out. And if you’re with a group, they have seats right next to each other so you can all have fun while getting pampered together!
Pro-tip: There is a parking garage around back where you can get two hours of free parking (that was plenty of time for my service!)
Pro-tip #2: I noticed there is a Drybar right next door! Perfect if you want to get your hair done as well.
