I’ve visited Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so many times – I can’t even tell you how many trips I’ve take there.
It’s such a short drive from Nashville, so growing up it was a very common vacation spot for most families.
I’ve traveled there with family, I’ve traveled there with a group of friends, and I’ve traveled there with my boyfriend. It seriously is the perfect destination for a quick getaway no matter the occasion or who you are traveling with.

The whole hotel is Bavarian-inspired and completely decked out with Christmas decorations. They have a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and a gorgeous courtyard with a pond. I highly recommend staying here if you want something truly unique!

There are so many things to do just at the resort, and they also offer a shuttle to Dollywood if you want to spend some time at the park as well! My personal favorite is the new Dolly Suite which is the actual motor coach she used on the road for the past 15 years – traveling to and from shows and writing songs along the way!

6. The Greystone Lodge on the River (Gatlinburg) 🌊

- Why Stay Here? If you’re looking for a more affordable option that is still beautiful this is it! They have rooms that have balconies to overlook the stream and you can even walk to Ripley’s Aquarium and Anakeesta! I personaly love this as an option for a cheaper stay.

For me personally, if I know I probably won’t spend too much time in the room I don’t want to go crazy on spending for just a place to sleep. This hotel is still super clean and looks nice inside and it’s in walking distance to a ton of attractions. Perfect for those who know they’ll be doing lots of exploring around the town!

- Why Stay Here? I love finding places that are unique! It makes the every trip so much more memorable. That’s why I love Under Canvas! You get to experience luxury glamping! Perfect if you like the outdoors but still want to be extremely comfortable. Definitely an upgrade from your typical camping trip!

If you really want to splurge and take a luxury vacation, or you want something very inexpensive – they’ve got it!
